The Marina of Estepona obtains the distinctive 'Andalucía Segura'
  • The port enclosure complies with safety and health protection measures against Covid-19

The Estepona Marina, managed by the Mediterranean Marine Group, has obtained the badge Andalusia Safe. The badge identifies all companies that comply with Covid-19 security measures, in order to give consumers the guarantee and peace of mind of compliance with World Health Organization standards.

This recognizes the work of the Marina of Estepona to adapt to the exceptional circumstances arising from the Covid-19 pandemic. To achieve this badge the port has followed the strict compliance with a practical guide developed by the Ministry of Economy of the Junta de Andalucía, based on WHO-based hygiene-health measures, The Ministry of Health and Family and the Ministry of Health.

The managing director of the Marina of Estepona, Manuel Raigón, has embraced the news with enthusiasm and optimism because "this badge shows that we do things right and, along with the quality of our facilities, we prioritize safety as an essential element". In addition, in this way "we make Andalusia, Estepona and the port a safe and quality tourist destination", adds Raigón.

To ensure the correct use of this recognition, the Ministry of Economy will carry out random inspections, where security measures against coronavirus will be observed to be followed and met.

Also, Raigón wanted to recognize the important work of all the team that is part of the Marina that enforces the protection and prevention measures established both in its facilities, as well as for all the staff and users of the port enclosure. In this way, nautical tourism becomes a safe tourism.
