In a few days the blue flags will fly in the three marinas of the Mediterranean Marine Group. The acts of lifting these recognitions of the quality of facilities and services of the ports are planned for the days 25 June, in the Port of Estepona; The 2 July, in the Port of La Duquesa (Manilva) and the 28 June in Marina Del Este (Almuñécar).
Mediterranean Navies has organized together with the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Malaga, an informative talk that will take place after the hoisting of the Blue Flag in each port itself. These are talks about places of special environmental interest in the environment of each port; Also, will address aspects of protected species and rules of use where they are regulated.
The Managing Director of the Mediterranean Marines Group, Manuel Raigón, accompanied by the Group's Chief Operating Officer, Alejandro Suanes, today attended the award ceremony held in Roquetas de Mar (Almería) and attended by the Vice-President of the Junta de Andalucía, Juan Marín, and the manager of the Public Ports Agency of Andalusia, Rafael Merino.
It should be remembered that this award is given by the European Foundation for Environmental Education (Fee) and the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (Adeac) for more than 30 years in recognition of environmental quality and are awarded after a thorough analysis by ADEAC technicians on safety conditions in the facilities, environmental and water quality, sustainable management, the services offered to the user, social integration, as well as the informative and formative work of each port.
