Marina del Este collaborates in the celebration of this event that, In addition, will take place in the vicinity of the marina's waters.

Del 14 To 18 October is held in the area of La Herradura the XXXII Spanish Underwater Photography Championship 2020.

The event will bring together nearly half a hundred people among participating couples, jury and representatives of the Spanish Federation of Underwater Activities (Fedas). In total this edition will feature 22 photography teams from the communities of: Murcia, Galicia, Catalonia, Andalusia, Basque Country, Castilla La Mancha, Castilla León, Canary islands, Navarra, Valencia, Madrid and Asturias.

The program will start on Wednesday, Day 14, at the 16:30 hours, with the reception and registration of participants. It will be that same afternoon when the event of welcome to the participants is held by local authorities in the marina Marina del Este.

There will be four tests or dives that will take place in the photographic section in the waters of Punta de la Mona and Cerro Gordo, Thursday and Friday and Saturday mornings, Day 17, jury screening and ruling will take place, as well as the delivery of trophies at the Civic Center of La Herradura.

This championship is organized by the Andalusian Federation Underwater Activities (FEAAS) and the Spanish Federation of Underwater Activities (Fedas), sponsored by the Mayor's Tenure of La Herradura, the Tourism Board and the Sexitan Consistory, as well as the collaboration of the Marinas del Mediterráneo group and the dive centers of the municipality.
