One more year GEA, Volunteer Association, together with a group of volunteer divers, will carry out the next 26 September the VII International Seabed Cleanup, of the Marine Watchers Network, supported by the LIBERA programme.

The activity will consist of the ecological cleaning of the shallow bottoms between the exit of the port of Marina del Este and the Peñón del Lobo, with access from the beach line attached to the port. Once the cleaning is finished, the waste will be sorted and subsequently channeled for proper recycling.

The cleaning of the beach will also be carried out, whose collected waste will be deposited in its corresponding containers for subsequent treatment..

The Marinas del Mediterráneo Group collaborates one more edition with this initiative by ceding a support boat for the collection of waste by divers, as well as providing the containers that will serve to deposit the garbage properly.
