Marina del Este recognized for its work against covid-19 with the seal 'Andalucía Segura'
  • The marina, managed by the Mediterranean Marines Group, has complied with hygienic-sanitary measures to curb the pandemic

The Marina del Este port has been recognized for its hygienic-health work to curb the Covid-19 pandemic with the distinctive 'Safe Andalusia'. Recognition comes after a summer season where, both workers and customers, have complied with all measures imposed for the containment of the virus.

The 'Andalucía Segura' badge is a certificate given by the Ministry of Tourism, Regeneration, Justice and Local Administration to companies that comply with the practical guide to hygiene-health recommendations and measures arising from the World Health Organization (Who).

The seal was created in order to give consumers the guarantee and peace of mind of compliance. In this way, the work of the Greadine port is recognized to adapt to the exceptional circumstances arising from the Covid-19 pandemic and to comply with all the measures contained in the guide prepared by the Junta de Andalucía.

The managing director of Puerto Deportivo Marina del Este, Manuel Raigón, he wished to congratulate the entire port team "on their involvement in ensuring compliance with the protection and prevention regulations established in the facilities". Also, he has also wanted to remember the users and clients of the port venue to which he thanks "his good attitude throughout the season, in such difficult circumstances".

To ensure the correct use of this recognition, the Ministry of Economics will conduct random inspections, observing that the security measures against coronavirus are followed and met.

The goal of 'Safe Andalusia' is for the Andalusian community to grow again and position itself where it was before the coronavirus crisis, offering next to the quality of the destination, safety as an essential element. In this way, it has been shown again that nautical tourism is a safe tourism.
