The second Icon Marina Sailing Regatta, scheduled for next weekend, 14 And 15 March, has been postponed for the health and preventive reasons dictated by the Spanish Sailing Federation. The event was to be held in two coastal races between the ports of Motril and Marina del Este and the Bay of Malaga and Marina del Este on the first day, and a windward-leeward regatta in front of the Port of Eastern Marina.

Both the regatta and the planned social events have been postponed to a new date, given the growing concern caused by the coronavirus epidemic (Covid-19) and the recommendations, both health and federal authorities.

The organization is already working to find a new deferral date so that the regatta can be held, is currently being shuffled in October. Soon the organization hopes to have more information and pass it on to all citizens, who are sorry to communicate this decision.
