The first test of the Spanish and Andalusian Endurance Class B Championship and CBS Cup will take place this weekend in the vicinity of the Marina del Este marina.

The test is to get there as soon as possible by bypassing beacons and buoys on a circuit of some 4 nautical miles, where they will employ some 40 Minutes. Buoy A will be located near the Punta de Mona and from there they will head to buoy B, next to the patrons of El Santo. A third buoy C located in front of hotel Helios on the beach of San Cristobal, to get to a D buoy at the height of China's beach and from there to the finish line, near the mouth of the Marina del Este port.

Boats used for this type of competition are speedboats made of polyester fiber from 850 kg of weight and meters in the long world and can reach a speed of 60 Knots,  some 110 km/hour.

The Councillor for Tourism, Rafael Caballero, pointed out that last year this test was brought to Marina del Este and "it was a very positive experience that we wanted to repeat this year due to the impact on the arrival of participants, family and amateurs who know Almuñécar and La Herradura. Also, has highlighted the media impact achieved "which translates into viewers who know our city. If we also offer our coast for water sports, promoting Lunch and The Horseshoe, which is what we're after, it's guaranteed." The Sexitano edil wanted to thank the management of the Marina del Este port for its predisposition and the Andalusian Federation of Motornáutica for choosing Almuñécar and La Herradura as a place for the celebration of this test.

For its part, the director of the Marina del Este marina, Manuel Raigón, has shown satisfaction in hosting this competition again, "in addition to its showiness, because it's in line with the approach that from the Mediterranean Marine Group we want to give our ports. A nautical approach, sporty and playful that makes a lot of people come up to us and get to know us." Raigón also wanted to thank the Federation and the City Council of Almuñécar "for the support, the dissemination of the event and institutional accompaniment".

Saturday's departure 30 March will be at 17:30 hours, while on Sunday 31 the second set will be at 12:30 hours.
