The Mediterranean marine plans to dredging between the pontoons 1 and 2 in the Puerto Deportivo de Estepona

MARINAS DEL MEDITERRÁNEO , entity that integrates the companies of the marinas of La Duquesa and Estepona (Manilva), carried out over the past December more than 50 actions to improve and presentable and facilities of these port areas. These are maintenance and prevention work included in the monthly plans of the Operations department of the Mediterranean Marine Group.

In the Estepona Marina maintenance work carried out has been, among others, painting the doors of the pantalanes, the paving work of the Westeros Clean Point, as well as cleaning up the sanitation wells. Also, has proceeded to change the cast luminaires and various repairs in pantalanes.

Within the planned annual actions that correspond to this period, in the Port of La Duquesa the removal of contaminated water from the boathouse has been removed, as well as the painting of the Travel Lift. In terms of maintenance work, the replacement of various anchoring ends of shabby moorings is highlighted, fixing the platforms for jet skis that were broken or various improvement work in the toilets.

With regard to the actions that the Group Operations department has ongoing, is the work of reinforcing the perimeter breakwater of the boathouse, the sand transfer to Castle Beach, the renovation of security cameras and recorders or the purchase of an articulated platform that will improve the quality and efficiency of work in Varadero.

Also, both marinas have presented, one more year, their respective candidacies to achieve the Blue Flag again 2019.
