MEDITERRANEAN MARINAS COLLECTS THE BLUE BANDERAS OF YOUR THREE SPORTS DOORS

• The turn-off event took place yesterday in Puerto Sherry as a symbol of the effects of the storm he suffered and in recognition of his ability to recover quickly.

The Mediterranean marine group, which integrates the concessionaires of the marinas of Estepona, LA DUQUESA (Manilva) and Marina del Este (Almuñecar), has collected the three blue flags that will wave this summer at each of the marinas.

The managing director of Marinas del Mediterráneo has come to collect the awards, Manuel Raigón and the group's chief operating officer, Alejandro Suanes. Also, the turn-up event has been attended by the president of ADEAC, José Ramón Sánchez Moro and the Tourism Advisor, Francisco Javier Fernández.

Manuel Raigón has expressed his satisfaction in collecting these awards that "are not only the recognition that our ports have met a number of requirements, in this case environmental; they are also the result of us doing things right". Also, Raigón has thanked all the staff of the three marinas the work and involvement to achieve these awards.

Alejandro Suanes, for his part, has also taken the opportunity to thank all colleagues for their efforts each day to help protect and improve the environment.

This award is awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education (Fee) and the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (Adeac) more than 30 years in recognition of environmental quality and are awarded following a comprehensive analysis of ADEAC technicians on safety conditions in the facilities, environmental and water quality, sustainable management, the services offered to the user, social integration, as well as the dissemination and formative work of each port.

Andalusia is the third Spanish community in number of marinas that have received the blue flag with a total of sixteen, of which three are managed by Mediterranean Navies.
