The Mediterranean marine group, company that integrates the concessionaires of the marinas in Estepona, LA DUQUESA (Manilva) and Marina del Este (Almuñecar) carried out the work of carrying out the transfer of 5.000 cubic meters of sand on the beach of Las Gaviotas, at the Port of La Duquesa.

It is an action envisaged within the annual plan of improvement and maintenance established by the Mediterranean Marine Group for its marinas and which consists of an environmental measure that favors the sand to follow its natural course from Levante to West. In addition, these contributions of sand contribute to condition and regenerate the environment of that beach that had deteriorated by rains and winter storms and improve it for the summer season.

The work has been carried out within a week and with the specialized machinery has brought sand from the beach of Las Gaviotas and deposited on the beach of El Castillo.
