Mediterranean Marinas will be present at the XVII Symposium on Marinas

The Chairman of the Group, José Carlos Martín, will participate as a speaker in this new edition that will cover the most topical topics of the nautical sector

The XVII Symposium on Sports Ports, which this year bears the title of "New management and economic models of the Marinas" will take place on 1 and 2 June in Gran Canaria.
Among the cast of speakers is the chairman of the Mediterranean Marine Group, José Carlos Martín, intervention planned for the 1 June and that will be, Precisely, on the topic that gives its name to the new edition of this forum: New management and economic models of the Marinas. Martin, with extensive experience in the nautical sector, has been invited as chairman of the Mediterranean Marine Group, which integrates the concessionaires of the marinas of Marina del Este (Almuñecar), Port of Estepona and Port of La Duquesa (Manilva). In addition, José Carlos Martín is also the president of the Marinas Association of Andalusia, a professional association that looks after and defends the interests of 16 marinas on the Andalusian coast to which it represents.

The event is organized by ASMAR (SL Maritime Performances and Services) in order to take a step forward in the constant work of updating and recycling the nautical sector and its professionals. They report, this year will discuss the main current issues that have the greatest impact on the business of marinas. Topics such as the Costas Law and new regulations on marina concessions, Rate T0, investments in marinas in the face of new competitions and their return, nautical facilities as elements of port-city integration or the new management and economic models of marinas, among other topics of interest.
The conferences will be delivered by presidents of Spanish Port Authorities, port directors from different autonomous communities, as well as other professionals in the nautical and legal sector.
