Mediterranean Marinas celebrates Marina Day with numerous activities in its marinas

• Marina del Este, Port of Estepona and Puerto de La Duquesa will celebrate the Day of the Marinas on 9 June with a day full of nautical activities for the whole family
• The goal of celebrating this day is to bring the ports and their facilities closer to the public

Saturday 9 Mediterranean Navies joins the international Marina Day initiative, Marinas and Marinas Day. The aim is to open the port and its entire precinct to citizens; to make the population aware of the variety of leisure alternatives that marinas have and to make them aware that these are open spaces for the enjoyment of the whole family, where you don't need to have a boat to take advantage of all the activities it offers.

Throughout the day the different marinas that make up the Mediterranean Marine Group, East Navies (Almuñecar), Port of Estepona and Port of La Duquesa (Manilva) have organized a wide range of activities: boat trips, diving baptisms, fishing trips, introduction to light sail, paddle boarding or kayaking, information exhibitors, among others.

Let people know the marinas, their operation and that they know that they are open spaces that have different alternatives so that the whole family can have a good day".

The Marina of Estepona has organized a wide range of activities for the event. They'll start today on Friday 8 June with a clean-up of the seabed and a guided tour of the port grounds with marina staff.

For Saturday 9 June the day will have fun for all audiences. Buceoestepona.com will have an informational exhibitor where you will talk about the Introduction to Diving; EsKape Estepona, offer information on kayak fishing; RCN Estepona Sailing School will also have a presence to give information on the introduction to Light Sailing; Turismo Marinero Costa del Sol will present the different marine proposals offered and the South Olé company will provide information on the various nautical qualifications and courses.

In addition, nautical charter companies will also offer discounts for excursions that day. Costa del Sol Marine Tourism, offer a discount 10%; Discover Scuba Diving will perform diving baptisms and Sailing School, sea baptisms; Catamaranes Estepona has a special price of 10 euros per person and South Olé Sails will have a special price of 24 euros per person for two hours. Environmental Advisory Will Offer a 20% off; Estepona Charter, Sotoboats Charter, Prestige Fishing Tours, Tourist Sailboats and IOE Marina Charter will have a 10% off.

Marina Day in Estepona coincides with the XLII edition of the 24 Sports Hours so Manuel Raigón encourages all esteponers to visit the marina "so that they can check in first person the different nautical sports activities offered by the municipality".

La Duquesa Marina, for his part, it will also host a variety of activities. Norton Charter will offer boat cruises 15 euros per adult and 5 euros children; No Stress Fishing Charter will have a 20% off for fishing trips; Andalusia Activities will offer a 20% off for kayaking routes, paddle surfing and kayak rentals, Boat trips and the Company Navigaport together with Mistral will provide the opportunity to practice paddle surfing.

The Marina del Este Marina, in Almuñécar, it will also offer options to have a good day at its facilities. Boat departures or boat rentals with special discounts; diving schools will offer a 25% discount on dives and a 2×1 baptisms; In addition, restaurants located in the harbour will have special menus from 15 euros per person and ice cream shops will also have discounts 15%.
