Marina del Este hosts the Andalusian championships of underwater photography and video

• This weekend, of the 28 to the 30 May, the XXXIII Andalusian Underwater Photography Championship is held in La Herradura 2021 and I Underwater Video Championships 2021

The best specialists in photography and underwater video meet the 28 to the 30 May, at La Herradura, to celebrate the XXXIII Andalusian Underwater Photography Championship 2021 and I Underwater Video Championship 2021. The event will bring together nearly half a hundred people among participating couples, jury and representatives of the Spanish Federation of Underwater Activities (Fedas). In total this edition will feature 20 photography teams from communities in different Andalusian provinces.

The program will start on Friday, Day 28, with the celebration of the I Andalusian Underwater Video Championship and on Saturday and Sunday will be held the XXXIII Andalusian Underwater Photography Championship.

The seabed near the Marina del Este Marina is of great importance with a wealth of fauna and flora. They also have a colossal environmental beauty and for this reason, Andalusian diving has set its eyes on them.

These championships are organized by the Andalusian Federation Underwater Activities (Ugly) and the Benalmadena Diving Club, with the support and collaboration of the Mayor's Tenure of La Herradura, the Tourism Board and the Sexitan Consistory, as well as the collaboration of the Mediterranean Marine Group and the local dive centres.
