Marina del Este hosts the Basic Training in Maritime Safety for Professionals course

The Marina del Este has hosted the Basic Training in Maritime Safety course in its facilities. It is a Certificate of Specialty whose possession is necessary and required of all those who are to be part of the crew of a ship or who perform professional functions related to the sea.

The contents discussed in the course are: survival at sea, fire prevention andfighting, first aid and personal and work safety, in addition to pollution prevention and control. The course consists of a part of theoretical content and another part where attendees put into practice the knowledge and simulated situations.
