The three marinas managed by the Mediterranean Marine Group get the Blue Flag
The ports of Estepona, The Duchess in Manilva and Marina del Este in Almuñécar, repeat again in obtaining the award
MARINAS DEL MEDITERRÁNEO , concessionaire of the marinas in Estepona, LA DUQUESA (Manilva) and Marina del Este (Almuñecar) celebrates winning the Blue Flag award at the three marinas it manages.
As commented by the managing director of the concessionaire of these port venues, Manuel Raigón, "the awards are not just the recognition that we have met some, in this case environmental. They are also the consequence of us doing things right".
In that sense, Raigón has referred all estepona marina staff, of The Duchess in Manilva, both in the province of Malaga and Marina del Este, in Almuñécar, in the province of Granada, the company's appreciation for helping to protect and improve the environment.
This award is awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education (Fee) and the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (Adeac) more than 30 years in recognition of environmental quality and are awarded following a comprehensive analysis of ADEAC technicians on safety conditions in the facilities, environmental and water quality, sustainable management, the services offered to the user, social integration, as well as the dissemination and formative work of each port.
Andalusia is the third Spanish community in number of marinas that have received the blue flag with a total of sixteen, of which three are managed by Mediterranean Navies.
