The three marinas of the Mediterranean Marine Group receive the Blue Flag badge

• This award recognizes the quality of the services and facilities of estepona Marina, port of La Duquesa and Marina del Este.
• Marina del Este wins this recognition for the twenty-seventh consecutive year and the marinas of La Duquesa and Estepona already accumulate 24 years waving this award.

The Mediterranean marine group, company that integrates the concessionaires of the marinas in Estepona, LA DUQUESA (Manilva) and Marina del Este (Almuñecar) celebrates winning the Blue Flag award at the three marinas it manages.

The trajectory of Blue Flags in the group's marinas speaks for itself. In this summer period, Marina del Este will wear for the twenty-seventh year this badge of quality while the marinas of La Duquesa and Estepona, accumulate already 24 years waving this award at its facilities.
The managing director of the Marinas del Mediterráneo group, Manuel Raigón, has been satisfied with the notification, ensuring that "the awards are not just recognition that we have met some, in this case environmental. They are also the consequence of doing things right in terms of the care and maintenance of our facilities and the quality in customer service".

And is that the achievement of this award is the result of the work well done and of continuous planning in time. In this sense, it should be recalled that Marinas del Mediterráneo has in place a Management System in the maintenance of the facilities of its marinas a preventive plan whose objective is, on the one hand, optimize own resources and, on the other, seek excellence in both customer service and the quality of customer service and facilities.

As indicated by the director of operations of the Mediterranean Marine Group, Alejandro Suanes, "With good management of a marina you can optimize resources so that all maintenance is planned and organized, which decreases the corrective maintenance required".

This award is awarded by the European Foundation for Environmental Education (Fee) and the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education (Adeac) more than 30 years in recognition of environmental quality and are awarded following a comprehensive analysis of ADEAC technicians on safety conditions in the facilities, environmental and water quality, sustainable management, the services offered to the user, social integration, as well as the dissemination and formative work of each port.
Malaga has been the Andalusian province that has obtained the most blue flags this year, with a total of 5 Marinas, two of them managed by Mediterranean Marinas, 34 beaches and 2 sustainable vessels.

Granada, for his part, has managed to 12 Blue Flags, 11 beaches and the Marina del Este marina.
