Hoisted the Blue Flag 2018 marina del Este Marina

The port precinct already shows this award given by the European Foundation for Environmental Education and the Association of Environmental and Consumer Education in recognition of “their environmental quality and their information work”. Marina del Este is one of the 16 Andalusia's marinas that have won this award. The act of hoisting the Blue Flag has involved the port director, Manuel Raigón, who was accompanied by the Councillor for the Environment of the Sexitano Consistory, Luis Aragón, and the lieutenant-in-chief of the Almuñécar Civil Guard, José Manuel Picón, along with the majority of the staff of workers from the port facility.

The managing director of Marina del Este, Manuel Raigón, highlighted that this award serves “”acicate, incentive and goal to continue on the path of excellence in environmental quality management” and has been grateful for the effort and involvement of all those who are part of Marina del Este. The Councilman, Luis Aragón, for his part, congratulated The Marina Marina of the East for the effort it makes to meet the required quality standards that set the standards regarding achieving this recognition, “besides putting us on the map of the blue flags”.
