The marina Marina del Este hosts this weekend the 2nd test of the Spanish Championship and Andalusian endurance motorboat class B

Eleven boats will take part and two sleeves will be held on Saturday afternoon 26 and Sunday morning 27

The Marina del Este and the waters of Almuñécar Bay, between the marina and the Peñones del Santo, host for the first time a great sports show of motorboating with the celebration this coming weekend of the 2nd Round of the Spanish and Andalusian Championship of Motorcycle Endurance Class B.

The event was presented in the premises of the Captaincy Tower of the Marina del Este marina . The event was attended by the manager of Marinas del Mediterráneo, Manuel Raigón, the councilors of Sports and Tourism of the City of Almuñécar, Luis Aragón and Rafael Caballero, Respectively, and three outstanding riders who will participate in the tests and as a representation of the Andalusian Federation of Motonautics.

These three pilots are Fernando López Salinas, rider of the Andalusian Motorcycle Federation, European champion, third of the World Championship and Spanish Champion of the Promotion category 2017; Francisco Javier García Plazuelo, rider of the Andalusian Motorcycle Federation,  European champion, third of the World Championship and runner-up in Spain in the Boat Production Category of 2017. García Plazuelo is also, Endurance Class B delegate of the Andalusian Motorcycle Federation. Together with them José Manuel Pardo Herrera, rider of the Andalusian Motorcycle Federation,  European champion, third of the World Championship and runner-up in Spain in the Boat Production Category of the 2017.

The calendar and schedule of the championship will start this Saturday.
The celebration of the first set will begin this Saturday day 26 from the 18 hours, after registration, technical meeting and trainings planned from the 16,30 hours. On Sunday the second round will arrive, from the 12,30 hours, with training one hour before after the technical meeting of the pilots.

During the celebration, pilot José Manuel Pardo stated: “the boats come some to have engine power of up to 400 CV, which can give an idea of the strength and speed they can reach at sea under normal conditions. Boats may or may not carry, co-driver to play with the weight taking into account the speed and the number of laps that will depend on the circuit that must have a minimum of 2,5 Miles

The manager of Marinas del Mediterráneo, Manuel Raigón, thanked the support of the City of Almuñécar to make a first-class event a reality in an ideal setting that forms the bay of Almuñécar in front of the beach of San Cristóbal and the Marina del Este marina.

For its part, the mayor of Tourism, Rafael Caballero, highlighted some suitable areas for anyone who wants to come and see the development of the championship, how they are, the moorings of the port (of the 202 to the 227), San Cristóbal beach or Cotobro promenade.
