The Puerto Deportivo de Estepona becomes scene of shooting a film for Atresmedia

The facilities of the Marina of Estepona have become the basis of operations for the filming of the national film for Atresmedia "Agent Makey. Operation Red Heat",  directed by Alfonso Sanchez,  actor, Spanish film director and screenwriter and also known for forming the comedy duo "Los Compadres" with Alberto López. The protagonists are the actor and comedian Leo Harlem; Jordi Sanchez,  known for her portrayal in the television series "La que se avecina" and the popular Spanish actress and comedian, Silvia Abril.

It's a familiar white comedy and familiar film in which Makey (Leo Harlem) is a small-time local cop who lives obsessed with the action movies of the years 80. Makey is transferred from a southern Madrid neighborhood to a police station in Estepona. There, reunion and reconciliation with her daughter, the one you haven't seen in years, will be marred when Makey casually stops one of Interpol's most wanted men.

Recordings will be carried out over several days at different points in the port area, as well as in different locations in the eastern municipality. For the filming, a team of more than 60 people.

"Agent Makey. Operation Red Heat" is a production of Alamo Audiovisual Productions for AtresMedia and is expected to be rolled in other locations such as Marbella, Madrid or Tenerife.

For the managing director of the Mediterranean Marine Group, Manuel Raigón, Estepona Marina is "a movie port" and has thanked the production company for choosing "our port as a set for the film's recording, what certainly, will put even more value on the facilities and infrastructure of our port precinct".
