The Marina of Estepona is visited by schoolchildren in the municipality

A group of CEIP schoolchildren Ramón Lago de Cancelada, in Estepona, has recently visited the facilities of the Marina of Estepona. The visit consisted of a tour of the port area and special emphasis has been placed on a very important issue such as waste management and the importance of preventing the dumping of waste into the sea. In this way, students have been able to know firsthand how waste is managed in the marina through the various clean points installed and specific areas for this management.

The Marines of the Mediterranean group frequently collaborates with educational centres to contribute to the important work of outreach and awareness of marine litter and waste management. An initiative that becomes even more important when done from a young age.
