The Puerto Deportivo de Estepona continues with its biannual plan of improvement and l'arranjament of its facilities

MARINAS DEL MEDITERRÁNEO , entity that integrates the concessionaire company of the Marina of Estepona, continues to carry out improvement actions in the facilities of the port area. In recent days the cleaning of the entire sanitation network has been carried out, port manholes and rainwater in order to avoid or minimize the effects of possible flooding for the next Autumn-Winter season.

For this same purpose, the cleaning of the exit of the Piojo stream between the pontoons has also been undertaken 1 and 2.

Also, the organic waste containers of all the pontoons of the marina have also been changed for new ones, a total of 30 units.

For its part, the operating staff of the marina continues with the painting work both in the premises and in other areas of the port area for the beautification of the facilities.

Following the corresponding policy of sustainable and environmental management carried out by the Marinas del Mediterráneo Group, the Marina of Estepona has certified that all the waste extracted from the different cleanings carried out have been deposited in the corresponding landfill plant that treats this type of waste.

For Alejandro Suanes, Director of Operations of the Mediterranean Marine Group, this plan, which contemplates the investment of more than 60.000 euros in the next two years, is focused on improving the facilities and buildings throughout the port area. "We work continuously to ensure that all our facilities are modern and of quality and that they represent a reference for users and customers", has indicated Suanes.
