Estepona marina staff take a fire prevention course

For the Marine Group of the Mediterranean, the prevention of occupational hazards is an absolute priority and safety at work, one of the main objectives.

So,  all the staff of the different work centers of the group are in continuous training both to acquire new knowledge and to update content and carry out internships. Like this, Estepona marina staff has conducted a fire prevention course and emergency plans. This training managed through Cualtis, the company responsible for managing the Prevention of the Group, has been taught by two professional firefighters.

The course has had a theoretical part, where trainers have explained different concepts and situations that can occur being the main fire, and a second practical part, which has taken place on one of the esplanades of the port area. There the course participants have had the opportunity to apply the concepts learned and face a real situation, even with real fire. No doubt, after this course, estepona marina companions will be much more prepared and trained to deal with an emergency situation caused by a fire.

Continuous training courses are the best way to improve working conditions.
