Marina del Este staff attends training on fire fighting and management of hydrocarbons

Continuing the planned training policy on safety and environmental engagement by Mediterranean Navies, the staff of the Marina del Este has attended a day of training on firefighting and virtual reality in hydrocarbon management.

Training, which has taken place in the facilities of the Almerimar Marina and has been promoted by Repsol Comercial, was held under the organization of the Cantabrian company Maritime Consultants (Cancomar) that taught a theoretical content course and that has included an important part of firefighting practice. In addition, through a virtual reality team, attendees were able to implement how hydrocarbons would be loaded and unloaded at marinas.

In addition to the staff of Marina del Este, the Aguadulce Marina team has also attended, Marina de Garrucha y Carboneras and the staff of Puerto Deportivo Almerimar.

The objective of these courses is the training and training of staff working in port facilities so that they can respond quickly and effectively to an emergency situation, knowing exactly what to do at all times and how to use the means available to you.
