Without spoiling anything (as this specific Companions commentary has key story beats for Serana's character) Serana needs to be dismissable, and she isn't during any of these Dawnguard DLC quests. No need to use another outfit mod/follower framework feature, or fiddle with the lackluster vanilla system. - Added in voice line for a drinking buddies line that didn't have one, - Fixed abruptly exiting dialogue bug with some lines, - For a lot of Serana's dialogue lines, she no longer needs to actively be following for them to trigger. If you've been having problems with the quest, this bugfix update should fix it for sure. - Changed a line with the initial Mikael Banter to suit Serana's character more, - Adjustments to some radiant dialogue to only occur when Serana's relationship has been developed with the player, - Delayed most NPC banter (not followers) to only occur after "Beyond Death". - Changed the cooldown of the radiant misc. This is to make it less intrusive when it first fires, and to have it be friendlier for VR users. - Deleted unnecessary and old dialogue lines from previous iterations of the mod, - Added in missing script to activate Serana friendship timer. - Patch update by Noodle Bowl. Edits out some of the dialogue Serana Dialogue Edit adds, as to not thematically conflict with the additions my mod makes to similar dialogue branches (currently Hellos and Combat Idles). Now it shouldn't be delayed. - Looks like I didn't change the Odahviig/Durnehviir dialogue last time. - SDA_AlternateVoice check now occurs within the premises of the entire castle location, during Chasing Echoes- not just the dungeon interior. This quest awareness is extensive, and covers every single Companions quest until the end of the questline. Child interactions have been delayed and are currently on the backburner due to the sheer amount of content in this update already. - A lot of backend improvements on how NPC banter quests are started. - A new romance mini-quest for players who have chosen to elope with Serana. The patch has been completely redone (new records and new patch name), so just to be on the safe side you should start a new game with it/a game that hasn't had a Lustmord patch installed. - Some Serana Romance quests no longer say whether a quest was complete and logs it in your journal, because a lot of these are just conversations. - Being a lover to Serana unlocks radiant lover dialogue which may be experienced at will, as a way for you two to be affectionate.
